Why Tech Ed?

Why do our kids need technology education now?

1. Technology education is part of the New Jersey State Core Curriculum Content Standard.
2. The earlier we establish a foundation of technology knowledge the better prepared our students will be for high school, college, and beyond.
3. Across the country, standardized testing is shifting to computer-based models. Our children need to have basic computer skills in order to take these tests. If their computer knowledge is insufficient, their ability to take and pass standardized tests becomes incredibly compromised.
